The most important element of the check-up is the interview with the doctor. In this interview, the doctor learns about the patient’s complaints, eating habits, lifestyle, habits, profession / job, level of activity. After measuring height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, fasting blood sugar and blood fats, he/she will have an idea about the general health status of the other person. He now has the data and findings to make the necessary recommendations for that person. More detailed and high-tech tests should only be resorted to if these basic and inexpensive investigations are not sufficient.

For example, let’s take a middle-aged man who wants to have a “check-up” without any known disease or complaint. Let’s say this person has a sedentary life, has gained weight over the years, has a belly, smokes, and has a blood pressure of 14/9 (140/90) millimeters of mercury. It is clear that this person has a very high risk of heart attack without doing any other tests and it is necessary to take precautions. Simple blood tests will help determine the treatment to be applied. This patient should definitely quit smoking, eat less salt, reduce the calories he takes and increase the calories he consumes so that he can lose weight and go down to his ideal weight. If blood pressure does not decrease, medication should be started. A similar approach is taken if blood lipids are abnormal (which is most likely high). If the patient is going to do any sport other than walking, he should start exercising after an effort test. There is also an echo / effort (echo) test in our ultra checkup package.
