Pulmonary Function Test
Spirometric examination is the main test method used to evaluate lung function. It is routinely used in the diagnosis of obstructive and restrictive AC diseases, in determining the severity of the disease and its response to treatment, in deciding whether surgical intervention is appropriate, in the diagnosis, screening and disability evaluation of occupational diseases. At the same time, it is one of the most important parameters of routine health screenings in order to monitor the functional health of the lungs against the environmental conditions that employees are exposed to in the workplace.
